How do I get there?
If you are coming from Bangkok, Koh Samui International Airport is active with about 25 flights in a day using Thai Airways or Bangkok Air. There are already direct flights coming from Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and new flights intended to come from Korea and Japan. Ferry trips run daily from Samui to Thong Sala in Koh Phangan and it takes them just about 30 minutes. And from Haad Salad its just 15 minutes drive using a car or taxi. Although, an airport in Koh Phangan is under construction planned to run a straight domestic service to Bangkok and is to open by 2016
